Since 2008, Jens Schwarz (*1968) has been travelling regularly to the Lebanese capital Beirut, documenting the cultural, societal and political facettes of the lives of a predominantly young society that looks with conviction towards the West.
The photographers sensitive portraits and reportage images capture the diverse aspects related to social identity, contradictions and instability.
