The retrospective comprises more than a hundred photographs spanning from the 1960s to the 1990s. In addition to popular series such as Granny (1961), Goalkeeper (1961), Doves of Peace (1962) and Young Ballerinas (1962), the showcase also includes lesser-known works from the artist’s oeuvre. By following Lagrange’s gaze across four decades, the viewer is able to witness both the country’s transformation and the way in which the photographer’s visual style, themes and presentation evolved through the ages.
