The 5th Mannheim_Ludwigshafen_Heidelberg Photo Festival reached its successful conclusion on November 10. This Photo Biennial, that takes place in the cities of Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg, experienced record visitors numbering around 43,000 in this jubilee year. The Mannheim_Ludwigshafen_Heidelberg Photo Festival has established itself as one of Europe's most important contemporary photography festivals.
$bold:The patronage of Thomas Hoepker!
Titled "Grenzgänge. Magnum: Trans-Territories", the 5th Mannheim_Ludwigshafen_Heidelberg Photo Festival 2013 collaborated with the legendary agency and photographer cooperative Magnum Photos. Under the patronage of Thomas Hoepker, curator Andréa Holzherr, exhibition manager of Magnum Photos in Paris, opened up the archives of the world-renowned agency.
