Bernhard Moosbauer has been collecting pictures for three years, sitting at the computer and pondering on how his fellow human beings spend their free time. During those three years, pictures have flown to him through social media. He is a DJ and a photographer, and applies the same working principles within the different media.
Moosbauer works with visual materials sourced from social media sites, at a point where it has become very difficult to identify the original author: the images are often more bizarre, absurd and obscene than surrealistic ones. 168 pictures taken mostly from life, collected, catalogued and cleaned up by Moosbauer.
Bernhard Moosbauer studied design, photography and media art in Leipzig and Würzburg. He currently lives and works in Berlin and is a founding member of the “pavlov's dog” gallery.
