Making-of

The Tohoku earthquake of 11 March 2011, led to the destruction of the power plant and to the evacuation of the entire population within a 20 kilometre radius.

It is impossible for most of the affected to return when the time predicted to clean up the mess is reckoned at 30 to 40 years.

In consideration of the third anniversary of the disaster, photographers Tomás Munita and Dominic Nahr were there, independently of each other: two photographers, one theme.

The photo essay will appear 4th of April, in LFI 3/2014.
