The Corviale, an innovative living concept built near Rome in the mid seventies, with a bad reputation that precedes it. The residents fight against prejudice, while remaining wary of strangers – something photographer Andrea Boccalini also felt at first.
In the middle of researching the project, Boccalini injured his left hand. Because he did not want to interrupt his work, he postponed an operation and wrapped his hand in a bandage that left his fingers free to take pictures. He took a souvenir photo in one of Corviale's lifts – the whole reportage appears on May 23, 2014 in LFI 4/2014.
