Christopher Tribble is a documentary photographer who lectures at King's College in London. In his most recent work he documented schools in the Indian state of Bihar – and he documented them with a Leica. Tribble reports on his love of Leica and his photo project in India, in the “Made with Leica” segment of the L. camera blog.
One of the things that delighted him most was the spontaneity of the situation: “Although the school knew we were coming, and the students' parents and teachers had given permission for the work to happen, nothing was staged for the camera, and everything – from the school assembly (which I didn’t know would be taking place) through to the lessons I observed – happened in real time.”
