Seltmann Photography Contest
On 25 January 2014, the winners of this year's Seltmann contest were chosen from a pool of over 3,500 images submitted by more than 280 photographers. Their names, however, are still confidential – winners will be notified within the next few days.
All of the winning series will be displayed at the Municipal Gallery in Lüdenscheid. The exhibition opens on 15. June (11.30), with access to the public from 17 June to 31 August.
Publisher and jury member Markus Schaden was selected as this year's head of jury. Further members were Dorothee Koppe (Art Director at Masterfile, Dusseldorf), Prof. Thomas Rempen (Buero Rempen, Drensteinfurt), Julia Waldmann and Stefanie Solar (Waldmann Solar, Hamburg), Thomas Gerwers (Chief editor at Profifoto magazine, Dusseldorf), Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hein and Dr. Madoka Yuki (Duisburg/Essen University), gallerist Kristian Jamurschek and publisher Oliver Seltmann (Berlin).
