As part of the festivities celebrating the inauguration of the Leitz Park, the Leica Gallery Wetzlar opened with a special exhibition: 10×10 is a contemporary photography project that points towards the future while also remaining closely linked to the past.
Ten photographers (Dominic Nahr, Julia Baier, Evgenia Arbugaeva, Craig Semetko, Kirill Golovchenko, Amedeo M. Turello, Alec Soth, Jing Huang, Thomas Ruff and Saga Sig) each entered into a dialogue with one of the great masters of Leica photography, producing ten pictures each as a result of that interaction.
To accompany the exhibition, LFI published an exhibition catalogue in the form of a special edition magazine.
100 Years of Leica
Oskar Barnack laid the foundation stone for Leica 100 years ago in Wetzlar. In honour of this jubilee we have published a special edition magazine titled 100 Years of Leica, where you will find detailed information about the traditional Leica brand.
In addition to interesting articles about the individual Leica series and optics, the magazine includes fascinating information about Oskar Barnack's small film camera as well as pictures recently discovered in the attic of one of his granddaughters.
Please visit the LFI shop or go directly to the magazine segment of your LFI App (iOS) or LFI App (Android).
