Firmware Update for the LEICA X VARIO

The Firmware FW 1.1 for Leica X Vario enables your camera to offer additional features. With the new Auto ISO mode, the photographer has access to fastest shutter speed settings from 1s to 1/1000s. The update also enables Auto ISO to be used in M-mode.

Improved Operation
In A-mode and T-mode, exposure compensation is now accessed directly via the thumb wheel. The 'Info' key has also been configured with additional functions: it now confirms menu selection (along with the existing 'menu/set' key), and can now also be used to start playback in Video Playback mode.

When playing back videos, the volume can now be adjusted via the upper and lower key of the rocker switch. The 'flash' key has also been revised, so that it is activated only if the integrated flash is extended, or an external Leica flash has been attached to the camera.
