Details of the Leica T

First impressions
The signature of AUDI Design is, once again, unmistakeable on this new Leica. The body has no visible screws on it. It is made out of a single 1.2kg block of pure aluminium, and then polished by hand for 45 minutes, resulting in a visually and ergonomically pleasing camera with clear lines, solid weight and non-slip surface.

The few external function elements – two small wheels, a button for the video function, and the release – combined with the 3.7" TFT LCD 1.3 million pixel touchscreen, make it a pleasure to work with the Leica T.

The 16.5 MP APS-C sensor in classic Leica 3:2 format, and an ISO range from 100 to 12,500, ensure outstanding image quality. Thanks to the large sensor, good quality pictures are also produced even in bad lighting conditions.

The same applies for video, which, with 30 images per second, offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixel (Full HD) and stores in MP4 format. If the storage card (SD, SDHC or SDXC) happens to get full, the internal 16GB storage is there to help out. In fact, with that size internal storage and the integrated WiFi module, one can get actually by without an SD card.

As is customary, the Leica T is delivered with the current version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
