Leica Gallery Salzburg are offering a new workshop led by Robert Mertens. Abstract photography, with its unique and exciting range of creative possibilities, is enjoying an ever-growing popularity.
In order to convey a true understanding of the genre, Mertens will address not only photography, but also abstract works in other media, with a focus on supporting the individual approach of each participant. Instead of a realistic depiction of an object, the aim is to create an entirely new image based on the photographer's personal perception and visual concept – to bring to the fore something previously invisible.
The three-day workshop takes place from 28 to 30 March at the Schloss Arenberg in Salzburg. In the interest of maintaining a high-quality experience, numbers are restricted to ten participants. The fee of 480 euros includes the use of a Leica for the duration of the workshop.
