The Leica S Edition 100 takes the lead in being the first special edition camera of the jubilee year. The jubilee edition is made up of a Leica S medium format camera system and two of the most popular S lenses with central shutter: the Leica Summarit-S 2.5/70 mm Asph. CS and the Leica Elmarit-S 2.8/30 mm Asph. CS.
A particular feature of the jubilee edition is the engraving of the centenary logo on both the Leica S camera and on the two lenses. The product will be delivered in a Leica version of the Rimowa Topas Multiwheel Cabin Trolley in pale aluminium with top quality lining. This case ensures that the camera and lenses are safe and well protected – even during extreme condition photo productions.
The Leica S camera and Leica Summarit-S 2.5/70 mm Asph. CS and Leica Elmarit-S 2.8/30 mm Asph. CS lenses that make up the jubilee edition can not be purchase individually, only as a set. They will be available in Leica stores at the end of February 2014.
