On the heels of the publication of ‘The Last Roll’, photographs by Jeff Jacobson (Daylight Books) that is garnering critical acclaim, The Center for Photography at Woodstock (CPW), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting artists working in photography and related media, is presenting the first exhibition of the work.
Jacobson was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1946. For 35 years, he has worked exclusively with Kodachrome film to create images of people and landscapes, mostly made in America, that push the boundaries of photojournalism to present a more poetic and subjective view of the world.
There will be an opening reception on April 13 at 5 p.m. and a special presentation and book signing with Jacobson on May 4 at 3 p.m.
