The ICP Triennial will be held in New York from May 17 to September 8, 2013.
“A Different Kind of Order”: The ICP Triennial will take place from May 17 to September 8, 2013 at the International Center of Photography in New York. The curators Kristen Lubben, Christopher Phillips, Carol Squiers and Joanna Lehan have put together a selection of contemporary photography and video, that is both exciting and comprehensive. 28 artists from 14 different countries are displaying their most recent works and, consequently, revealing their particular perspective on pictures and picture-taking today. Newcomer photographers are as well represented as some of the greats of the photo scene, including Nayland Blake, A.K. Burns, Thomas Hirschhorn, Elliott Hundley, Gideon Mendel, Wangechi Mutu, Sohei Nishino, Mikhael Subotzky, Lisa Oppenheim and Nica Ross. A catalogue will accompany the exhibition. Lectures, discussion panels and performances will also be part of the programme.
