Birte Kaufmann: The Travellers
From 7 February to 23 March 2014, the exhibition Gute Aussichten – Young German Photography 2013/2014 will be showing at Hamburg's Haus der Photographie.
Established in 2004, the exhibition project Gute Aussichten (Great Expectations) has evolved into one of Germany's most important competitions for photography graduates. The exhibition venue Haus der Photographie has been the project's partner from the beginning.
This year's jury has selected nine photographers – Nadja Bournonville, Anna Domnick, Lioba Keuck, Alwin Lay, Maria Luft, Stephanie Steinkopf, Daniel Stubenvoll, Christina Werner and Birte Kaufmann.
Kaufmann will be presenting her series The Travellers, which she is currently expanding with a Leica M9 from the LFI camera loanpool.
