Distance and Proximity

The exhibition Weite und Nähe by Leica photographer Ulrich Mack opens at Gottorf Castle in Schleswig-Holstein on 28 June. The works will be displayed in the Barlach Hall of the museum's Gallery for Classic Modernism until October 2014. The images, which are owned by the Freundeskreis Schloss Gottorf Association, are also published as the 11th volume of the Association's Photographia Borealis book series.

Precision and diversity
Ulrich Mack is among Germany's most renowned photographers, known both for his photojournalistic work and his landscape photography. Great precision and extraordinary diversity are defining hallmarks of his work.
