Eugene Richards - Winner of the Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography 2013
Getty Images have announced the winners of their annual Grant for Editorial Photography at the Visa pour l`Image Festival in Perpignon. Five photojournalists are awarded the prestigious grant this year, with each of them receiving 10,000 US Dollars as well as editorial support in order to realise a personal project.
Eugene Richards, Samuel James, Thomas van Houtryve, Matt Eich and Marco Gualazzini were chosen from over 500 entrants from 60 countries, with themes ranging from drone warfare to the illicit oil trade.
