In conjunction with Finland's role as the Guest of Honour at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair, Fotografie Forum Frankfurt presents an exhibition of contemporary Finnish photography. Portretti comprises of photographic portraits whose contents go beyond a documentary representation.
In this German premiere exhibition, seven contemporary Finnish artists – whose work involves a variety of media, from photography to film, video and collage – will present their portrait photographs on a range of unusual subjects. The participating artists are Elina Brotherus, Ulla Jokisalo, Harri Pälviranta, Nelli Palomäki, Raakel Kuukka, Iiu Susiraja und Santeri Tuori.
