Opportunity for documentary photographers: submissions for the FotoEvidence Book Award are open until 15 January 2014. Entries should consist of up to 15 images from one project addressing a violation of human rights.
The winner will be announced on 20 February, followed by a New York exhibition of the winning series in the autumn, and the publication of the project as a FotoEvidence book.
Photographer Robin Hammond won the award in 2013 for his series Condemned, which documents the plight of the mentally ill in African crisis zones.
