September 5, 2019

Leica Camera have released new firmware updates for the Leica M10, M10-P and M-10-D.
The new firmware version 2.7.5.0 for the Leica M10, M10-P and M10-D is now available to download. The update includes numerous software improvements for operating stability.

The new firmware enables fast continuous shooting in Live View mode. The bug that caused the screen freeze issue in ‘Continuous High’ mode, while usinig the Live View mode has been fixed.

Also the partly incorrect regional GPS information was corrected. The bug that caused regional deviations in the GPS information has also been fixed. (Please note: GPS functionality requires the use of the Leica Visoflex EVF).

Also with regard to the Leica FOTOS app, the new firmware contains some improvements that stabilize the connection between the camera and the Leica FOTOS app. Among other things, the connection issue between camera and app with more than 800 images on the camera has been fixed. In addition, the camera now generates an optimized QR code for the connection to the app (not for M10-D).

Registered camera owners are able to log in and download their firmware updates at Leica Owners Area. Alternatively, your camera can be brought up-to-date as part of a free service at one of our Leica Stores.
