On 5 June 2013, the exhibition "A Double Life by René Burri" (René Burri: Doppelleben) will be showing at the Museum for Design in Zurich. The Leica photographer has helped shape twentieth century photography with images such as that of a cigar-smoking Che Guevara, or his works on Le Corbusier. Parallel to his work in black and white, Burri also captured the world in colour – leading a kind of artistic double life which included many non-commissioned projects. The exhibition will include Burri's famous black and white images, however its main focus in on the still relatively obscure colour work of this renowned Swiss photographer.
