Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2014

August 22, 2014

The shortlisted and winning works of the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2014 are currently displayed at the company's headquarters in Eschborn. Ends on 19 September.
On 17 July, the exhibition of this year's Deutsche Börse Photography Prize shortlist opened at the company's headquarters – featuring the works of finalists Alberto García-Alix (Spain), Jochen Lempert (Germany), Richard Mosse (Ireland) and Lorna Simpson (USA). On 12 May, winner Richard Mosse received the award at the Photographer's Gallery in London.

Every year, the award honours one artist who has made a significant contribution to European photography in the year before, either in the form of an exhibition or a publication. The contest offers a comprehensive overview of visual trends in international photography. Founded by the Photographer's Gallery (London) in 1996, the award has been sponsored by the Deutsche Börse Group since 2005.
