On October 3, the exhibition “Limites” is opening at Galerie Imagineo, in Paris's 11th Arrondissement. The images by Dan Aucante will be on display until November 2.
In this, his most recent work, the French photographer (born 1960) is dealing with the subject of limits. He set out along Europe's west coast in search of the border between land and sea, as well as historical and geographical demarcations. His journey resulted in black and white images, both graphic and somewhat melancholy, that also show a very clear sense of composition.
Photographic Night
In addition, there will be a “photographic night” at the Galerie Imagineo on October 5. It will start in the late afternoon with a presentation by Dan Aucante, after which participants are invited to dive into the night and to later present their own night shots to Aucante.
