Share:

Thursday 13 June 2013 was the official start of Berlin's photography festival The Browse. Photojournalists whose work features in LFI 4/2013 and 5/2013 will be among the festival's exhibiting artists.

Station Berlin will be hosting an exhibition of photographs by Kai Löffelbein from his series "Hidden Hong Kong" – a documentary on the shocking conditions faced by the city's population of cage-dwellers.

The same venue will also be showing images by Benjamin Hiller. His reportage "Wild, Wild East" on the disintegration of Syria was published in LFI 4/2013. At the festival, he presents photographs from the series "Torgelow – Fire and Steel for Renewable Energy" – created at the iron foundry in Germany's Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

LFI photographer Christian Werner will be represented in the festival's "Explore New Media" category with his series "Depleted Uranium". His reportage on Bali is published in LFI 5/2013, available from 28 June 2013.
