Nick Brandt takes pictures exclusively on the African continent since falling in love with the fauna he discovered there while working on the filming of Michael Jackson's “Earth Song”. His portrait-like photos aim to underline the animals' personalities, capturing them in moments when they appear to be posing.

Further exhibition highlights include two works by the US fashion, portrait and still-life photographer, Irving Penn. Even today, he is still considered one of the great artistic talents of the history of photography.

Christopher Thomas is showing works from his Venice in Solitude series, which he took with a large-format, Linhof Technika camera, using Polaroid 55 film.

In addition, the exhibition includes photographs by Silke Lauffs, Veronica Bailey, Michael Kenna and Toni Schneiders.
