Lost in Interiors

July 5, 2014

From July 5 to October 14, 2014, the Kommunale Galerie Berlin is showing photographs with different approaches to the theme of political imprisonment
25 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the city is honouring the peaceful revolution of 1989 with numerous events. One of the projects is an exhibition, Lost in Interiors, put together by PhotoWerkBerlin in collaboration with the Kommunale Galerie Berlin.

6 artists – Lisa Junghanß, Cameron Scott, Katharina Skalweit, Ruth Stoltenberg, Tanya Ury and Norbert Wiesneth – from every corner of Germany, are presenting photographs that were taken recently in the former Stasi prison of Berlin-Hohenschönhausen, and that are now being shown publicly for the first time.

The exhibition is part of the official programme of the 25th jubilee of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
