Professional photographers, photography artists as well as photography pre-graduates are invited to participate in the exhibition project CHANGING Realities, organised by the Society for Humanist Photography.
Twenty of the submitted works will be selected by an expert jury. The chosen images will be displayed in Berlin's Alexanderplatz Underground Station as part of the European Month of Photography festival.
In recent years, much attention has been placed on Europe in Crisis. Yet there are also other stories to be told, illustrating the miniature utopia and large-scale visions that many people have made part of their daily lives: alternative dwellings, careful use of natural resources, renewable energy, humane migration policies, a fairer global distribution of wealth, and protest movements among the middle classes.
Any concepts or initiatives (developed by individuals or organisations) to address any of these issues are suitable subjects for this photographic project.
Submissions close on 30 July 2014
