Images by Henry Balaszeskul will be on display at the Basel City Career Guidance Centre from 28 January to 30 May 2014
The series People at Work is the result of a one-year collaboration between photographer Henry Balaszeskul, Basel City Council and the city's Career Guidance Services. The majority of photographs were taken with a Leica M9 and a Summarit 35mm f/2.5.

Twenty-year old photographer Henry Balaszeskul has been living in Switzerland for six years. He currently works as a freelance press photographer, and is also about to study at the acclaimed Ostkreuz School for Photography. In his work he consciously avoids the use of colour, seeing it as a potential distraction from the composition and core expression of an image.

The project was facilitated by the Career Guidance Services of Basel City, where Henry Balaszeskul's talent was discovered while he was using their services to develop his career plan.

The exhibition will be showing at the Basel Career Guidance Centre, Rebgasse 14, Monday to Thursday from 13.00 to 17.00.

The opening evening takes place on 28 January 2014 at 17.30.
