Joakim Eskildsen Workshop

Eskildsen (1971) has already published many photo books, for which he has won, among others, the 2009 German Photo Book Award. Today he lives and works in Berlin.

Eskildsen would now like to share his experience in photo book publication with participants in a two-day workshop. The teaching is directed primarily at photographers who are already working on a project and are looking to refine their technique. The focus lies on redefining the respective works, on publishing photo books, and on improving techniques.

The price of the course is 390 euros. In addition to the two-day seminar, two months later, after further processing their work, participants will receive a personal evaluation of their efforts from Joakim Eskildsen. The workshop will take place on April 12 and 13 at the Studios in Barcelona. The event is jointly organized by Kominek Books and vêr Barcelona, a recently established photography collective, that will be organizing the vêr photo festival as of 2015.
