The 9th Angkor Photo Festival is taking place in the Cambodian city of Siem Reap from 23 to 30 November – the festival programme has now been released. This year's exhibits have been chosen by curator Françoise Callier together with guest curators Shahidul Alam (director of the Chobi Mela Festival in Bangladesh) and Jean-François Leroy (director of French photo festival Visa pour l’image).
Among the 130 selected artists are Christian Werner, Oscar B. Castillo and Magnum photographer Moises Saman, all of whom have been featured in previous editions of LFI. The festival also represents a platform for the works of many Asian artists. In addition, 30 successful applicants will be able to participate in workshops run by Andrea Star Reese, Magnum photographer Antoine d’Agata and Kosuke Ohara, among others.
