Man’s desire to venture into space has been a central topic of Vincent Fournier’s work for over a decade. The French photography artist (born 1971 in the West-African metropolis of Ouagadougou) has collaborated with the world’s major space centres to gain unprecedented access to the research facilities of NASA, the European Space Agency and the Russian space agency.

Imbued with a nostalgia for twentieth-century Science Fiction films, ‘Space Utopia’ is a skilful blend of documentation and artistic interpretation – culminating a unique look at the history and potential future of space exploration.
