Painting meets Photography

January 27, 2019

From 28 January to 17 March 2019, the Kunsthaus gallery in the Swiss town of Zug presents a showcase of photographs by Lukas Hoffmann, complemented by a comprehensive collection of paintings by Adrian Schiess.
A major exhibition of photographs by Lukas Hoffmann will be on display at the Kunsthaus gallery in Zug from 28 January to 17 March 2019. The presentation is complemented by a showcase of paintings by Adrian Schiess from the gallery’s own holdings.

The Swiss-born photographer Lukas Hoffmann (b. 1981), who now lives in Berlin, is set to present a comprehensive selection of recent works at the Kunsthaus gallery in Zug. This marks the first time that the images, which were created over the course of the past few years, are displayed at a Swiss venue. In parallel to Hoffmann’s exhibition, the Kunsthaus also presents a comprehensive collection of largely unpublished colour paintings by Swiss artist Adrian Schiess (b. 1959), which were gifted to the gallery by Christian Graber in 2015.
