Raw Charm

From April 7 to June 4, 2016, the Christophe Guye Gallery in Zurich in happy to be presenting a solo exhibition by Nick Knight, one of the world's most influential and visionary photographers. The Swiss première presents a cross-section of his oeuvre over the last two decades.

In his work, Nick Knight questions the moral concepts and the discussion surrounding conventional ideals of beauty, whereby he constantly shifts the definition of beauty. Despite his return to the glamour, Nick Knight's photographs are raw and intense, while also being charming and yes, almost divine. Knight's oeuvre, inspired by fashion, registers the development of the photographic medium, while never forgetting its role as an art form.
