For the first time, the extraordinary work of artist duo Albarrán Cabrera (Angel Albarrán and Anna Cabrera) is to be showcased in Switzerland. From 1 March to 12 May 2018, the Bildhalle gallery in Zurich presents the exhibition Remembering the Future, comprising a selection of remarkable works. Each image is a unique, handcrafted pigment print using wafer-thin Japanese paper and gold leaf.
Albarrán Cabrera have received international attention in London, Paris, New York and Amsterdam. Much of the duo’s work revolves around experimenting with innovative new printing techniques, and they are considered masters of their art. This exhibition is dedicated to the theme of memory – a topic that is as universal as it is profound.
The artists will attend the exhibition opening on 1 March from 10:00 to 21:00.
