SUNDAY EARLY BIRD

March 13, 2015

The Winterthur Photo Museum is offering Sunday workshops for children aged 5 to 9.
This coming Sunday (March 15), the Winterthur Photo Museum is offering workshops for children aged 5 to 9, at the Photography Centre. The workshops give children the opportunity to dive into the world of photography in a fun and entertaining manner.

The children learn about what has motivated the photographers currently on display at the photo museum, learn to understand the inner workings of a camera, and become photographers themselves. They will set up a self-portrait, will become sports reporters and animal observers, and they will also discover how some things only become visible through photography.

In the practical part of the workshop, the children will be able to realize their own photographic works. These photos, drawings or collages will be presented in an exhibition at the end of the workshop.

Next dates:
March 15, 2015 (10.30 – 12.00): Paul Strand – Photography and Film for the 20th Century
April 12, 2015 (10.30 – 12.00): Camera Obscura
