From 11 October to 16 December 2017, Vienna’s Ostlicht Gallery presents a major solo exhibition by artist and Leica photographer Elizaveta Porodina, whose approach is ingeniously positioned between fashion, portrait and documentary photography.
Along with her fashion work for clients such as Vogue, Hugo Boss and Louis Vuitton, the photographer is equally renowned for her independent projects and atmospheric, iconographic portraits. Reflecting the broad spectrum of the artist’s work, the exhibition also encompasses the results of her collaboration with the Austrian band Bilderbuch – including image campaigns, portraits of the band and music videos.
Further to this exhibition, Porodina’s series Re-Model is currently featured in the latest issue of the S Magazine S Magazine
The opening reception takes place on 10 October from 19.00, and will be attended both by the photographer and the band Bilderbuch.
