Starting on April 1, 2016, the Leica Gallery Washington DC is presenting an exhibition of works by Glen Craig. Titled 'A Day In The Life of Miles Davis', the gallery is showing intimate images from the life of the American jazz legend.

A production company introduced the photographer and the jazz musician to each other at the end of the sixties. They gradually became friends, which allowed Craig to photograph Davis not only at the music studio, but also at home, at the fitness studio and in different other personal situations.

Glen Craig, was born in 1949 in New York, where he studied at the Parsons School of Design. In 1965, a chance encounter with B.B. King introduced him to the world of music photography; since then he has worked with many music legends.

You will find further information at: Leica Gallery Washington

By the way: Simultaneous to the exhibition opening in Washington, the biopic 'Miles Ahead' about the jazz musician by Don Cheadle will be shown in the movie theatres.
