2016 Winner
The URBAN International Photo Awards are organised by the Italian cultural association dotART in collaboration with Photographers.it and Sprea Fotografia. The 8th edition of the international competition is dedicated to contemporary urban photography, and divided into two sections.
The Themed Photos section invites submissions based on one of seven topics (Street Photography, Architecture, Social City, Urban Art, Transport, Green Life, and Visions), while the Projects & Portfolios section is dedicated to the applicants’ personal projects.
The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2017. This year’s jury comprises of Monika Bulaj, Denis Curti, Aida Muluneh, Angelo Cucchetto and Karol Liver, and will be headed by Maurizio Galimberti. A total of 4,000 euros will be distributed among the winners, along with an exciting selection of non-cash prizes.
The best submissions are to be published in the URBAN photo book, and presented in a world-wide touring exhibition.
