Facelift for three popular M lenses
Three popular M lenses have been given a facelift: the re-issued editions of the Summicron-M 35mm f/2 Asph, Summicron-M 28mm f/2 Asph and Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 Asph offer improved image quality, and have been equipped with a rectangular metal lens hood.

The Summicron-M 35mm f/2 Asph now features eleven aperture blades, enabling a rounded aperture for a smooth and circular bokeh.

The field curvature of the Summicron-M 28mm f/2 Asph and Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 Asph has been significantly reduced for an improved detail rendition all the way into the corners of the image.
