TWO: A Tale of Convergence

August 1, 2018

The Leica Gallery in Singapore is presenting an exhibition of works by two photographers whose approaches, though very different, complement each other in a very congenial manner.
The Leica Gallery in Singapore is presenting TWO: A Tale of Convergence, an exhibition of works by two photographers coming from two very different fields. While Geoff Ang (44) has made himself a name in the area of fashion and commercial photography, and is an ambassador for the Leica SL, the 22 year-old Yik Keat taught himself photography in urban settings using a smart phone, developing his very own approach to light and shadow.

The fact that these two photographers are of different generations and have grown up with very different technological backgrounds, makes their collaboration all the more exciting: the combination of their work borders between modern and traditional, and gives space the best kind of examples of their creativity. The outcome of their collaboration can be observed in the exhibition TWO: A Tale of Convergence, that will continue on display at the Leica Gallery Singapore, up until October 24. The exhibition is complemented by a Master Class that will be run by both photographers.
