The second edition of Photo Shanghai takes place from September 11 to 13, 2015. Even though the photo fair is still a toddler, it has already become one of the most important events on the Asian photography scene.

Alexander Montague-Sparey from Switzerland is the curator. After the unexpected success of the first edition, art collectors and curators can once again look forward this year to selected highlights of Fine Art Photography.

The programme covers everything from vintage prints to contemporary works of art, including works by legendary photographers such as Elliott Erwitt, René Burri, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Helmut Newton, as well as the Chinese photographer Yang Fudong, whose work is currently being profitably traded.

Among the 50 renowned photo galleries represented at Photo Shanghai are: Blindspot Gallery (Hongkong), Atlas Gallery (London), Camera Work (Berlin), Flowers (London), the Gagosian Gallery (New York), Magnum Photos, the MD Gallery (Shanghai), Pékin Fine Arts (Peking) and the ShanghArt Gallery (Shanghai).
