Until 4 August visitors to the "Leica Galerie Salzburg" can expect a group exhibition by selected photographers of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award. On display are pictures by the photographers Jan Grarup, Jing Huang and Patrick Willocq.

Since 1980, the prestigious prize has been awarded on behalf of the inventor of the first 35 mm camera. An international jury gives the award to professional photographers as well as to a newcomer under the age of 25, whose unerring powers of observation express the relationship of humans to their environment in a series of at least 10 to 12 shots in a most vivid way. Karin Rehn-Kaufmann has been a jury member of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award since 2008 and has significantly contributed to shaping and developing the renowned photography prize.
