On 10 August, the exhibition In the Still of the Night opens at the Fotohof exhibition space in Salzburg, presenting five artistic approaches to some of the pressing political topics of our time. The displayed photographs by Edmund Clark, Göran Gnaudschun & Anne Heinlein, Jelena Jureša, Hrair Sarkissian & Ahlam Shibli explore themes such as power, individuality, political agendas and government control – thereby conveying complex social concepts in a range of visual styles. Curated by Peter Schreiber and Nadine Weixler, the exhibition aims to open up new perspectives and spark a conversation about aspects of today’s society that ultimately are of everyone’s concern.
In the Still of the Night will continue at the Fotohof Salzburg until 29 September 2018.
