For spontaneous types: On October 21 and 22, Craig Semetko is running a workshop at the Leica Gallery in Salzburg.
Following the LFI workshop in Hamburg, Craig Semetko will be running another workshop at the Leica Gallery in Salzburg. The two-day intensive programme is made up of editing, solo and group discussions as well as a presentation of Semetko’s approach to his own work.
You can see it in the humour and irony in his pictures: for a long time, Craig Semetko worked as an actor and comedy writer. He only discovered photography later on, and since then uses the camera to tell excellent short stories, multi-layered mini dramas and entertaining anecdotes. For Semetko the world seems to be a stage where people behave like unobserved actors. His pictures always testify to his clever talent for composition and his fine sense for the perfect moment.
