Not one but two issues of the S Magazine have received the renowned GOOD DESIGN™ Award in the Graphic Design category.

GOOD DESIGN™ is one of the best known and oldest design awards that is granted every year by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, in collaboration with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. The award was established in Chicago in 1950 by the architects Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann Jr.

This year, not one but two issues of the S Magazine, American Made by Bruce Gilden and The Enrique Badulescu Issue were granted the coveted award in the category of Graphic Design.

“This year’s historic, 66th Good Design programme recognises the work of thousands of designers and producers all over the world, who have been successful at rising to the challenge of creating the best product designs in the world for our global and growing consumer public,” says Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, President of the Chicago Athenaeum Museums.

The prizes will be presented during a festive award ceremony in New York, within the framework of the Museum’s GOOD DESIGN™ NIGHT on January 27, 2017.

LFI commissioned the Tom Leifer Design Agency with the design of both issues. The first seven issues of the S Magazine have already received eleven international awards. Great!
