Competition for a Good Cause

June 13, 2016

Last Call! Submissions for the Renaissance Photography Prize 2016 are open until June 14, 2016.
Photographers are invited to enter their submissions for the Renaissance Photography Prize 2016 until 14 June. The competition is aimed at newcomers and professional photographers alike. In addition, every entry contributes to a good cause: along with proceeds from sponsor and partnership contracts, all entry fee profits are donated to the Lavender Trust, a UK fund supporting young women with breast cancer.

The winners of the ninth Renaissance Photography Prize will be chosen by a jury of renowned industry experts, including representatives of The Financial Times, Getty Images, FOAM, Flowers Gallery and Tate Modern.

In addition to a £1000 cash prize, each category winner will also receive professional support in the form of reviews, mentoring and editing sessions. The Renaissance Photography Prize is given out in two categories – Single Image and Best Series. While participants can freely choose the theme of their series, single image entries must focus on one of the pre-described keywords: Earth, Private or Relation.
