Grants of up to 7,000 euros
Each year, one successful applicant receives up to 7,000 euros to finance the research and completion of a major reportage for a German-language publication. The grant is also open to team applications, including teams of photo and print-media journalists from more than one country.
Unbiased Approach
The award is designed to support projects on Central, South-East and Eastern Europe, with a focus on documenting people's everyday lives, addressing their response to social change or exploring the situation of marginalised groups. The submitted works should demonstrate an unbiased approach, along with the aspiration to find new and surprising perspectives of the suggested theme.
