From January 28 to April 5, 2017, the Leica Gallery Porto is presenting ‘Human Colour’, an exhibition of works by the Spanish photographer Daniel Casares Román.
From January 28 to April 5, 2017, the Leica Gallery Porto is presenting Human Colour, an exhibition of works by Daniel Casares Román. It is the first time the Spanish photographer’s work has been shown in Portugal. Human Colour presents a selection from different projects Casares Román has produced in recent years, taken is various places around the world (New York, Moscow, Norway, the Amazon), but with one common denominator – people are the central feature.

Daniel Casares Román (born 1976) studied photography in the nineties and quickly started working as a press photographer. His pictures appeared regularly in newspapers such as El País, La Razón, ABC, La Vanguardia and also in National Geographic. In addition to working as a photographer, Casares Román teaches photography at the University of Cadiz.
