From 5 October to 5 November 2018, Cambodia’s capital city celebrates the medium of photography with the 9th edition of the Photo Phnom Penh festival. Once again, a diverse range of exhibitions will be displayed in galleries and public spaces throughout the capital.
As with previous editions, the organisers have placed a primary thematic focus on fostering an artistic dialogue between Europe and Asia, whilst also providing an important platform for Cambodia’s emerging young photographers. The broad spectrum of participating artists ranges from Olivier Culmann, Lim Sokchanlina and Charles Fréger to Watsamon Tri-yasakda, Ly Min, Yang Ming, Floriane De Lassée, and many more. The four-week programme of exhibitions is complemented by events such as portfolio viewings, discussion rounds, seminars and conferences.
